Welcome to our high school research journal, an open-access, peer-reviewed publication dedicated to student science. IJHSB gives high school and undergraduate students a platform to share their work with the world and experience the scientific publishing process. Submissions for the 2027 Uranus Issue Are Now Open
IJHSB is now accepting manuscripts for the 2027 Uranus Issue.
High school and undergraduate students are invited to submit original research articles, review articles, and short communications across biology and related fields.
The 2027 Uranus Issue celebrates curiosity, unconventional thinking, and the courage to explore ideas beyond familiar boundaries. Inspired by one of the Solar System’s most distinctive worlds, we hope this issue encourages young researchers to question assumptions, approach biology from new perspectives, and pursue ideas with the potential to challenge how we understand the living world.
Submissions are accepted based on available editorial capacity. As the number of places for the 2027 Uranus Issue is limited, submissions may close once capacity has been reached.
All manuscripts first undergo a free initial eligibility screening. Manuscripts that successfully pass this stage and proceed further in the editorial process are subject to a one-time submission fee. Full or partial fee waivers are available for authors who are unable to pay due to financial circumstances.

Our goal is to guide you through the publication process with clarity, kindness, and scientific rigor.
