Assignment on submission (effective upon acceptance)
By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) (and, where applicable, a parent/guardian or school representative) acknowledge that IJHSB will own all rights, title, and interest in the Version of Record and any IJHSB-prepared files (PDF/HTML/graphics) if the work is accepted for publication. Authors agree, at the point of submission, to the assignment of all rights to IJHSB, effective upon editorial acceptance. If a manuscript is withdrawn or rejected, this assignment is void.
Author permitted uses (with citation)
Authors may, without further permission:
- use the published article in teaching, presentations, portfolios, and science fairs;
- post or keep preprints created before submission;
- cite/quote short excerpts for scholarly purposes.
Any other redistribution, republication, adaptation, or commercial use of the Version of Record requires written permission from IJHSB.
Third-party content
Authors must secure permissions for images, figures, data, instruments, or questionnaires not created by the authors. Include permission statements and attributions in the manuscript.
Warranties
Authors warrant that the work is original, does not infringe third-party rights, and complies with ethical standards (including approvals/consents where required). All co-authors approve the final manuscript and the assignment terms.
